Position Description:

Levine Hat Company has a history in the Saint Louis community and is the premier source for men's hats in the Midwest.  Our store on Washington Avenue houses tens of thousands of hats and our energetic, confident and smart Sales Associates help customers find the best fit.

Retail Sales Associates help customers all the way through a purchase, from a friendly greeting through boxing and checkout.  The most successful Sales Associates are energetic and confident.

Responsibilities include:

  • Working with customers so they find the correct style and fit
  • Making the sale by going above and beyond
  • Adjusting and creating compelling store displays
  • Restocking the showroom floor
  • Keeping an eye on the store to prevent losses
  • Cashier duties


An ideal Sales Associate cares deeply about the customer experience and goes above and beyond to make each customer experience count.  Candidates must have:

  • 5+ years of retail experience
  • Independent, 'no task too small' attitude in all aspects of everyday work
  • Excellent communication and project management skills
  • Utmost character, honesty, and transparency
  • Keen eye for design and physical store experience
